There are grand claims of being an antidote to the more toxic corners of the Internet but so far it’s a bit of a damp squib. I do hope they pull it off but at the moment it’s a poor cousin of Lemmy, IMHO. 2

I dont recall the exact issue with the new Digg but I remember there being something that made it clear this would fail.
