I have seen people from .ml defending N. Korea while saying S. Korea are the bad guys. They think the state of affairs in N. Korea is just western propaganda and it’s actually a communist utopia there. Some seem really unhinged with their theories.

What “prosperity” means in this context is typically just amassed wealth and GDP, which says nothing about how well the population is actually doing.
