2 monthsI’m out of the loop. Did it take longer than it took for Cyberpunk 2077 to reach v 2.0? The v 1.0 doesn’t count because that should have been labeled “broken alpha early access”.

It was announced in 2019. So yes, about double the time it took from Cyberpunk to go from 1.0 to 2.0.

Their point was Cyberpunk was announced in 2012, and the first playable build was 2.0 in 2023…
Although cyberpunk is certainly harder to implement being a 3d high res game vs a 2d platformer
Ok, so silksong was about 6 years in development. Maybe a bit overdue, but not too bad.
