16 daysSo for the dot matrix, users are expected to keep a phone charger or something plugged in next to their Steam Machine? It uses more energy than can be provided by the Steam Machine’s USB ports?

Yep, at least for right now that’s the deal. The Steam machine doesn’t use that much power, so I could imagine a solution that includes a new power cord that can power both at the same time.
