Jokes aside it is a really bizarre and twisted way to read the situation but that‘s a pattern with this community. I know these things are kind of subjective but you will see the most confidently wrong takes here gather huge support from people who haven‘t even played the games so as long as they can „stick it to the big guys“. Whatever that means at any given time.
That’s a cute idea but also naive. You voided the warranty the moment you separate the case to open that thing anyway. It doesn‘t even matter if it‘s glued or not and yes, Nintendo can tell. People do not glue it back together to trick Nintendo but to actually keep the thing in place. It will absolutely need to be mounted.
Apart from the fact that Steam Input is a book with seven seals to me, it does not forward gyro input to any emulator I have tried. Not at all. It simply gets no gyro input when I try to set the button layout via emulator menu.
In fact I can‘t even get the gyro from the DualSense to work over Steam while it works out of the box without Steam running. I wish I could just tell Steam to not do anything but unfortunately Steam Input is mandatory for the Steam Controller.
I have tried to get it to work for endless hours and I‘m pretty sure it‘s actually not possible on Arch Linux or Wayland or both.
But I can’t really tell because nobody actually explains anything. It‘s very frustrating to keep reading „just use Steam Input bro“ as if that explains anything. What do you guys even mean by that? Do you have a step-by-step guide how to make gyro from the new Steam Controller readable for emulators? Because god knows the internet could need one.
One thing I actually disliked about GTA5 was that the game wouldn‘t exactly pick up where your last session ended. Instead, it felt like the world continued in my absence. I would save my game as Franklin in his house but the next time I boot up the game I‘m controlling Trevor waking up in a pile of garbage, feeling just as disoriented as he did. Even when it made for some surprising moments I disliked it overall.
Unfortunately you are mistaken. They can‘t just place it in there loosely. It needs to be mounted in some way. Right now, repair guides glue the replacement battery back into place as well so it‘s actually not something you should skip. The new mounting system can very well result in a smaller battery size.
I‘m not sure if replaceable means that. In fact I am very doubtful replaceable means you can replace it like older laptop batteries or Gameboy batteries. It‘s more like replacing a 3DS battery I imagine. So no, very much not be at 100 percent just like in the old days unless you regularly replaces your 3DS batteries. Not sure why you would.
Yeah. Are they really expecting me to believe we can‘t have wide spread fiber that has fairly little maintenance costs but we can totally afford weekly space rocket launches to maintain Starlink? And Starlink is supposed to be an affordable option while still being profitable? Yeah, sure buddy. Totally doesn‘t sound like a hyperloop-esque pipe dream. /s
On one hand I agree but on the other hand this EU version will probably have less battery capacity or even processing power as a trade-off. It has to fit in the same case and with the same components after all.
