That is not how taxes work. If you earn the minumum income or less, you pay no taxes. If you are above the minimum, you pay taxes on the amount that surpasses the minimum only, so there is no way of getting less if you earn more.

I’m curious, is there a reason why noone uses deja-dup? I use it with an external SSD on Ubuntu and (receently) Mint, where it comes pre-installed, and did not encounter Problems.
I agree with most others, manual is useful to know in case you have to drive one. It will surely become less and less important with electrification of cars, but until then, knowing to drive manual might come in handy for you.
