And they are right to do so. In the grand scheme of things, it doesn’t really matter how much time you spend on a problem. It’s the result that matters. I remember a meme where a dev would place a “wait” function in a new feature. Than remove the wait call and call it a free update and get lots of praise from the customer.

I think what OP means is that the invention if the photocamera left a lot of painters unemployed. Pralleling that to current times, where AI is threatening the jobs of many artists. Obviously still lives are still being made today, and a decade from now artists will likely still have a job as well, only the market is a lot smaller.
I respect your craft as a troll, but… No, wait I don’t, go fuck yourself.

Dafuq is reddit doing here? Gtfo!
Pluto can still float around the sun like any planet can. It’s just when some scientist comes along and says “well, actually…”.
Maybe in a couple years there’ll be another scientist who says “well, actually…” and Pluto will be a planet again.
It’s not up to Pluto, it’s up to the people who interpret the rules.
Size doesn’t matter.

Yes, because OP was telling a story about two teenage girls talking on speaker phone.

I don’t think I said it was
MDWDVZZ. Nope!
I like how this forum thread has actual thoughtful and objective commentary that all point to how bad this feature is.

Has anyone ever seen these two in the same room together?

I will look in to that

Yes, but hardlinking doesn’t work if the files aren’t on the same petition.
My downloads folder is on the main harddisk.
The files are moved to an external ssd.

You see, the problem is that radar and sonarr move my files into designated folders. That is a good thing, but it also makes it so that my download client can’t find it again to continue uploading.
I have now set it up so that I keep a copy in my downloads folder for a week, but I don’t have the space to permanently keep two copies of all my downloads.
It would be great if radarr could tell my download client where the file has moved to so that it can keep on seeding indefinitely.
That’s awful. I hope you’re doing okay there

Aww sad :( Which client is this?

Reading documentation is not for “the average person”, only professionals and enthusiasts. Now, I know Lemmy has plenty of both, but its certainly not a given that someone is one of those. For “the average person” a post like this is much more practical.
Also people are idiots, or at least easily influenced. If you ask someone “you dreamt such and such, right?” They’ll be more likely to agree with you than when you ask “What did you dream?”
