Yes because I use TUIs that use all the same bindings and they’re great one you get the vocab.

Yes, that’s the deal. Pay for it or give up your stuff

Knew it at the start and know it again now, that it was the right decision.
Its not FOSS but it works great on Linux in the browser… OnShape

Thank you for the reply. I will dig around there.

What do they use for the fingerprint login, I have something working on my t480s but I think it’s python and not exactly fast to login… Maybe something in Rust or Framework is using some other libraries? Foss?

Its not debt… Nothing was deferred.

So did we make it to “codebase drag” yet?
Something that isn’t debt but is a headwind to making changes.

I see that as too idealist. When the rubber hits the road you cant spoon feed every newcomer with 100x docs per 1x code, so it’s inevitably going to be difficult for some to approach.
So now cos it’s hard for somebody you assume there is debt?.. It can’t be infinitely easy.

Whilst true, I was not talking about maintenance…
Rather “getting started in” ie onboarding.

Not sure. Something can be written fine and technically good but it’s difficult to get started in… Its a headwind… Ie drag.
I don’t see that as debt?

In your CI which one do you use? I also use SOPS for my own, but it’s overhead… So wondering which you settled on?
Can be trained and not a gift, agree.
But just cos you got experience does not mean you got “it”.

Lot of complaining for issues that are easily side stepped, but maybe cos I’ve learnt it all already, but it does fill the article with lots of words.
The byo compute and logs thing is half the rant which has never even been a problem for me in the last 4 years on GH.
Not sure between config and programming? You literally can choose that yourself.
Biggest issue for CI for me is how to get CI secrets locally… which I don’t know a good answer for.
Nix is great but try getting your whole team / org on it…

What’s your solution to handle secrets locally?

Christians went to Greece and Moslems stayed in Turkei around the same time so maybe they wanted the split so it was more Turk in identity.

OpenCode is written in JS and uses Bun. Eats ram and crashes everyday.
