10·22 days agoThey can be exclusive too. If you run a public server in your DMZ, but keep your personal information behind your firewall, the public server is not secure but you are still practicing good privacy.

The media is very predictable for sure. They put on the rose-colored glasses for the pro argument, and sensationalize the worst fears for the con. Historically, the truth lands in the middle.
Unlike the topic of immigration, with the massive wealth inequality of today, anything benefiting corporations over the working class is far more likely to work out in their favor.
That’s intentional. They sensationalize to desensitize. Unlike the introduction of computers or the internet, AI will absolutely take far more jobs than it will create. Goldman Sachs predicts a 50% reduction in US jobs by 2045, and Republicans added a provision into the budget reconciliation that prohibits any regulation on AI for a decade, to ensure that prosperity goes to the corporations.

The API for iOS screen recording is sandboxed to the app itself. There is currently no system-wide screen recording API for developers.
Most new vehicles have cellular capability as well as AM/FM.

The only backup option I see for Signal is through Android, but it’s optional. There is no backup support for iOS or desktop.

Signal uses end-to-end encryption (E2EE). The only copies of messages are on the sender’s and recipient’s devices.
It was initially caused by crossing my legs the wrong way and pushing back while sitting in an office chair. I was then misdiagnosed and had a surgery that compounded the problem with adhesions. It’s been a rough five years.
Same here. They just did it in the office with a laser. Nothing in comparison. I have persistent lightning-like stabbing pain in one testicle. That’s what my neurologist likened to period cramps. It’s bananas that women can just go about their day in that condition. It’s way beyond distracting.
When I move the wrong way, the pain floods my entire groin, to the point of complete disorientation, visual white out, profound ringing in my ears, and freezing cold rippling chills throughout my body. I’ve almost passed out on several occasions.
I have genitofemoral neuralgia. According to my neurologist, my pain most closely resembles severe period cramps, and occasionally will manifest akin to childbirth.
Women are the stronger sex. Trust me.
I thought it was odd branding after Cinemax. HBO was synonymous with great television and mini-series. Skinemax had a different association.
1·2 months agoOh I’m not saying they don’t. I’m saying Canada has very strict gun laws, and US gun enthusiasts are very firm about maintaining their right to bear arms.
I just think that would be the biggest obstacle in US states joining Canada. It wasn’t a criticism so much as an identified point of contention.
US firearm enthusiasts would be the biggest problem.
Same with Cuomo in NYC. Can’t stand the guy, but he took covid as seriously as Fauci suggested. It was rough, since the first hot spot was in New Rochelle and we didn’t know much about it at first. Nevertheless, people bitched and moaned about lost business while refrigerated trucks full of corpses were lining the streets.
