Will this allow people to install it on multiple devices? Right now I can’t have it on my phone AND tablet and it sucks…

Totally stopped using it on all devices otherwise.
Not missing anything, just wish FF mobile was a bit more polished, but having ublock outweighs any issues.

Technology@lemmy.world•Nasdaq, S&P 500 drop 1% after China’s latest AI breakthrough rattles tech stocksbymadcaesar@lemmy.worldEnglish
21 daysThis is huge though.
The problem AI has, especial frontier models, is that they cost BILLIONS to develop, so they need SHIT LOADS of paying customers to be profitable.
However, unlike let’s say physical invention, you almost get no advantage of your development since China can just clone your model with very little cost and then offer it at a fraction of the cost.
It’s honestly a very effective way to undermine American companies, with hardly any money investment.
Let US companies burn cash, then copy and undermine the customer base.
It’s one of the reasons people fear the AI bubble, all this money invested isn’t coming back

2 monthsAI is so weird, it absolutely is useful and has uses, but it absolutely is NOT what these billionaires want it to be.
And even IF IT COULD BE all they claim, it would literarily cause an economic collapse.
The truth is that AI is a tool that’s useful, but anyone in those companies trying to dampen things will be immediately moved to the side in favor of a guy saying, dude we can go to the moon with this trust me!
So yea… I don’t know how we get out of this… It’s very similar to the dot-com bubble. Internet was/is important and transformative but it wasn’t what everyone was claiming… So the crash came.

Plenty of morons out there from all walks of life.
