So who’s got their finger on the pulse of the new blood? I only watched about half the F2 races last year, but with most of the bigger talents having moved on I’m not sure who to keep an eye on this year. Gabriele Mini looked good last year and I know Lindblad is highly rated, but that’s about it.

If you haven’t seen the last race of the f3 then I definitely recommend checking it out

Here’s the extended highlights video of Fornaroli and Mini, so they’re definitely expected to do well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLtEVjamPSE

Lindblad as you say and also Beganovic should be decent.

Surprised Verschoor and Martins are still going with it to be honest!

EDIT: Fuck me forgot the link

As someone living in Sweden I’ve been fed a fair bit of Beganovic hype, but I’m not sure I buy into it yet. Will be interesting to see this year for sure, though. Agreed about Martins and Verschoor, though I guess with the big hemorrhage of talents from last year’s F2 it’s maybe not surprising that it was hard for teams to find better alternatives than those two.

I feel like some of the F2 teams had to reach quite far to fill the seats of all those who left to compete in F1 or FE this season. Also, what is Paul Aron doing this year besides his reserve job at Alpine? Surely another year driving in F2 should have been possible for him?
