Not sure if it is still active but here it is http://lemmythrunflevho5ox2fi4omlpjbvtr2hpokzx7ugimgqf5j4hq.b32.i2p/
I might look in to it and spin up my own instance soon TM.

Yes, the problem is how does a clearnet instance send you content to your equivalent of an onion address?

You would need the server to point to both I2P and Clearnet. This is possible, but the server looses it’s obscurity.

4 monthsWhy is this always the go-to answer? I kind of wish we’d stop asking it must sync to the clearnet.
Honestly if Lemmy (and other services) were built from the ground up for anonymous overlay networks rather than clearnet in the first place it would be a better place overall.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with tor/i2p having their own fediverse. Just it becomes as fresh as dreaddit (pretty sure I spelt that wrong).

4 monthsAre you thinking of Tor? i2p can be very quick once your node becomes aware of others.

I think in theory you could do it if you had a separate relay, you might only need one for the entire I2P Lemmy community. The relay would always be exposed to some degree but it’s just a relay so it’s not going to attract too much attention, especially if the operators were smart and didn’t sync spicy communities to the clear net

I don’t think ActivityPub is set up for one server storing and forwarding a whole feed of everything, like Usenet. Right?
