• Hot dogs Wat comes in packages of ten, while hot dog buns injera comes in packages of eight. You’ve got to buy 40 each of the damn things to use them up evenly. It’s a conspiracy, I tell ya!

  • Ask for more injera. It’s cheap, they have a lot of it, and they’ll probably be happy to provide you with more gratis.

    That being said, sure you can just eat it with your hands if it isn’t too hot.

      Not really relevant to restaurant, but a friend in Ethiopia once mentioned that injera is a bit ritzy for them, they consider it to be a middle class food.

    This was my solution with naan/roti at least. I wish I had African food available near me.

  • Normally you get extra bread rolled up and served with it too, in my experience. I suppose you can ask for more, or just use a spoon.
