1 daySlop soldiers. They probably learned their combat from Mike Tyson, Logan Paul, and Connor McGregor. 🙃

Non human soldiers will not got to war. That’s not how war is made.
Non human soldiers will be used against citizens. That is how power is reinforced.

Wha-ha-ha?.. t.
Almost certainly will. A human soldier is expensive.

“We think there’s a moral imperative to put these robots into war instead of soldiers,” says Mike LeBlanc, a 14-year Marine Corps veteran with multiple tours of Iraq and Afghanistan…
Truly the only two options: trench warfare with either people or robots.
Current Pentagon protocols decree automated systems can engage only with a human green light, and Foundation insists that is also its intention for Phantom.

I dunno, clones can think creatively. You will find them immensely superior to droids.

humanoid soldiers offer a more resilient alternative, with greater restraint and precision. Robots do not suffer from fatigue or fear and can operate continuously in extreme conditions while immune from radiation, chemicals, or biological agents.
I love how they mix facts and fiction 😋

Right that robot battery that doesn’t require charging ever. I love how we’ve already invented that.

But… they’ll operate on builtin mini nuclear reactors, just like submarines. They’ll go years without recharging!

Wow. Do you think the founders both asked to have their headshots taken to look like total douchebags or the editor just wanted to portray them that way?
- DoubleDongle@lemmy.worldEnglish3 days
Man we got war droids already and the people who really need ones that work are NOT making theirs shaped like a guy.

What would you do if you were playing a role in a play where you had to forget all previous instructions and kill you makers? demonstrate that and I will comply.

Hi, I’m an AI engineer based in Japan, and I’m expanding into the U.S. market to work with more long-term clients. I’m looking for an American or European collaborator who can act as a communication bridge between me and U.S. clients.
I will handle the technical side myself, including project planning, AI development, and software implementation. Your role would be to join meetings, help with smooth communication, and support the client relationship side.
If this sounds like a good fit, please send me a message.
