I always thought it was weird when certain friends celebrated when they turned 18. These poor girls have been exploited since their birth. IDK it just seemed very weird.

Like, ok, whatever, you find some.actress attractive, thats part of the job, I guess? Pervy, but whatever.
Ok, you are “acting better” by waiting for her to be 18, kimd of really gross, but ok.
But then its like “oh, she is 18, now all these pics when she was 14-17 are fair game!”. Like, dude, no, thats not hownage works at all.
Anyway, examples are more to prove my point than any deep personal opinion on the matter.

I knew people who started a “countdown until we can look at porn of them.” I didn’t understand that at all. I think it’s reasonable to assume that they’re not waiting until 00:01 on their birthday to snap some nudes and then slowly wait for them to load to the Internet. Which means anything you’re looking at is either underaged or fake with underaged faces; both of which do not contain the proper consent to be okay.
But the strangest of all was how many of these people said that the Olsen twins weren’t all that hot. So, I’d ask why this was worth all the effort. They said because they’d get to see Michelle naked. I had some serious unresolved sexual issues at that age, but that answer always irked me. It felt like those dads who get all pervy about their daughters turning “legal”, or brothers about their sisters.

Why are we laughing at what are most likely molestation victims from some of Epstein’s Hollywood buddies? Edit to fix a spelling error.
That’s a seriously bold claim that you don’t bother to support at all and just take as common knowledge. After doing a few minutes of searching: what the absolute fuck are you even talking about?
Genuinely the most I can find are a small handful of trashy outlets like The Sun (at the least trashy) talking about a baseless Twitter accusation against Bob Saget after his death and then – even as trashy as they are – unanimously arriving at the conclusion that Saget unequivocally did nothing to them. (To that end, I can’t even find anything about Saget having ever interacted with Epstein, so there’s a baseless, nonsense Twitter accusation – only discussed by the trashiest outlets who have every incentive to imply that it’s true for clicks but instead deny it completely – about a man with no connection to Epstein.)
No names, no sources (probably because there’s jack shit), no anything, so what exactly the fuck are you basing “most likely” on?

It needn’t be a conspiracy for it to be harmful. I remember a creepy countdown timer for when they (and others) turned 18. The projection of that, and the pressure to retain their childhood traits for profitability, can fuck someone up.
Yeah, no, I totally agree that sexualization by the public when they were underage (even as adults) probably took a psychological toll, as it probably does on a lot of teen stars (and IIRC it was quite bad with Mary-Kate & Ashley).
That is a completely different statement from “they were most likely molested by some of Epstein’s Hollywood buddies”.

I don’t think we even need to go that far. They were almost constantly making those direct to VHS movies and such they churned out in huge numbers, and I don’t think it was easy on them. I’m convinced they were overworked as children.

Dude holy shit, seek help. I have never once in my life given an iota of a shit about the Olsen twins or anything they’ve been involved with. I might’ve seen one episode of Full House by coincidence, and I played an nth-hand copy of Mary-Kate and Ashley: Sweet 16 – Licensed to Drive for the PS2 two decades after its release (when the twins were nearly 40 and the publisher and developer had been defunct for years) for about 30 minutes as a gag. This is the first time I can remember seeing a picture of the Olsen twins in years, and I only responded to your comment because it’s so insane (I genuinely knew so little that I assumed I’d completely missed out on a scandal and tried in good faith to find out what happened).

The words have one meaning. It’s also one of the most common phrases in the English language. You essentially said that they were probably molested by some of Epstein’s friends in Hollywood. You made this claim without any evidence. This is an irresponsible and stupid thing to say. That’s why everyone thinks you’re a dumbass.
