Been waiting for Slay the Spire and Undertale sales on GoG. The history shows those have not been on sale in GoG for years now or whatever.

I guess they will never come.

And also hoping to one day be able to get Slay the Spire 2, Balatro and maybe Deltarune in GoG…

Are you using a direct currency region that was recently added? There won’t be any data for currencies that weren’t tracked, for obvious reasons. You can switch currencies to one of the other major currencies like EUR or USD to see trends earlier than that.

Also the graph is defaulting to showing 6 months for scale… but you can extend it out much farther with the buttons below the graph.

I had to switch region to usa and currency for $t to see whole timeline. Thanks for the tip.

  • Same old prices…bland. Oh and price hikes too. I had to check my order history to compare to find that I paid $.89 for the original Theme Park back in 2016. They want $3 now for it. Screw that.

      • 1.49 is honestly not a bad bargain either. But, this just highlights where sales have degraded to over the past five years.

      • What do they charge now? Also, are their “foot"longs still 11”, or have they gotten even shorter?

        • It varies, but it’s something like $7.50 to $8. In any case, inflation is a thing. Theme Park was added to the Good Old Games program, which means GOG did real work on it, and it’s not egregious to charge a few extra dollars. Plus, sale percentages are variable; sometimes Dragon Age is 50% off, but right now it’s 60%; this sale might not be a given game’s deepest discount. Are they charging what you’re willing to pay? If I was in the market for Theme Park at $0.89, I’d probably still be in the market for it at $3.

          • It varies, but it’s something like $7.50 to $8.

Really? Wow, in my area it’s like $12.

          • Inflation, to me, is code word for “I’m going to be greedier”. So, I’m so sick of seeing that word ‘inflation’ being thrown around so much because it’s just excusing and justifying the greed.

            • You’re free to believe what you like, but it is real. The cost of an input (electricity, server components, employee salaries, etc.) goes up, and the cost of what a company produces has to go up as well.

    • You weren’t suppose to do any research on sale prices you dumb consumer! That’s not how capitalism works, jeez!

  • Did they ever make good on the nazi dog whistles they put in that game promo email?

Not that I saw. I won’t buy from them at this point. Anyone who purposefully posts the SS doesn’t get my money.

    • Depends on your definition of “make good”.

After the first disastrous comment on reddit they issued a second one on Twitter which sounded like the first one should have in the first place.

But that’s all and they didn’t address it inside the newsletter, so for me it’s empty words without really addressing the deeper issue of how much somebody in GOG fucked up.
