I wonder how much that additional weight impacts any preparations on sim etc that the teams have done. Might mean that they don’t have a lot of data going into the weekend.
Now the teams have two options: either their drivers must wear the mandatory cooling vests or their cars must carry more ballast.
Whether the drivers elect to use the vests or not, the rules state that their cars must be fitted with the necessary equipment to make the vests work – specifically the pumps, coolant reservoir and heat exchanger.

Nice to see that they list the actual current place of residence for each driver instead of the self-chosen license originator.
That’s a BIG raise
Not only will he test a 2023 car – so, from the current regulation he never drove in –, but Haas team boss Ayao Komatsu will be his personal race engineer for the test. Who can say that about hinself?
For context, Komatsu was Grosjean’s race engineer when they worked together at Lotus a decade ago.
He could have been on a £100m gardening leave until 2030, but decided to want to return to the F1 paddock… as a team owner? Which team would he even be able to buy? Haas?
Yeah I was also like “how did he do that?”
I guess there wasn’t much he could talk about, and given that he still was sick, probably he didn’t want to talk much on the radio either that could have been broadcast
Marko said after the race that the decision for the seats will be made end of October. Until then I guess it’s what you say: lighting a fire under them.
Yeah, Williams seemed to be doing great here. Thanks for pointing out Albon, I didn’t notice that he made so many positions.
Could very much be that this track lent itself to Williams and the Racing Bulls, and the next ones will look different. If Williams really took a step forward as a whole that would be quite something (especially as no one is bringing upgrades for this year anymore at this stage).
just did!
What did Carlos say to Max’ question if he had a new mascot on his helmet? is it the unicorn(?) some girl drew for him to put in on his helmet?
Edit: found the Williams article, it is indeed the unicorn sticker they talked about in the Carbono podcast
Yeah Russell really did well. You can say Sainz, Lawson did well to hold up there in what are typically worse cars, but Russell actually is one of the few who moved forward
The Merc team trying to celebrate with Russell but not catching his virus 😂
90 degree corners, to be precise. You’d think they’d crash in the complicated western section, but no
Did Lewis just try to give position to Charles and they didn’t manage to do it before the finish line?
Lando just threw that plastic bag into Lewis’ car live on camera lol
Yeah IMO the way better play would be to keep Lindblad in F2 for another season, he’s not winning the championship this season anyways
To be fair to Doohan and Colapinto, both of them didn’t have the same amount of possibilities to drive into P6+ as the others
