Yeah, i bought it too when it came to steam but also donated about 50 dollars back around 2009 I think. It is worth it even if I don’t really play it any more.

Considering the hours you put in a good building game just about every one of them is “free”. But yeah, OpenTTD is great and a lot of fun. TTDX was my first PC game which was an instant buy (before I even had a computer but was getting one in a couple of months) after I saw a review on TV. The 90s was something else.
Indeed. Took me 20min from starting install to having my first game on Steam. Best experience ever. Never looked back.
Yes, you get a star in the galaxy of fame when you reach the edge of the solar system.
I just managed to win my first game on Saturday! That said I was very hyped about the expansion and even took a week off work when it released. In my mind it was an all week play and complete. I was so wrong. This Saturday I sat down, built the last spaceship and finished. 330 hours or something from start to finish.
I love the game but the spaceships was just not fun to build. Every time it is the same thing over and over again a s it really burned me out to the extent that I needed months to just build the last one I needed. Everything else (not the first 10 hours of gleba) was great. Next project is going to be the mod where everything is on Nauvis unless I find some other mod to play around with.
Maybe it wasn’t considered work for this person? They wanted to try and do something better in their own time. I am not saying they shouldn’t be compensated but doing something of your own will doesn’t have to be work, it can be fun.
Started playing this with my friends a couple of months ago. We are old so we can only play for 2 hours every week bit it is a blast! Having so much fun and the graphics being a throwback to half life 1 is just top notch! It really show how much gameplay means compared to polygon count and whatever effects etc.
Not sure if I would have played this on my own. A bit too much of the survival stuff that I am not into too much but that is a personal preference. Less stress about that with friends.
I played only on my deck at first since I wanted a game I only play there. It was really tough and I died a lot.
Played once on my desktop and totally crushed. Not sure if it was luck or screen size and my age :(
Love the gaming news. Thank you!
Been playing Clair Obscure: Expedition 33. Finished it last week and I am blown away. Game of the year for me. There is no challenge here. I read that there is a lot more of it after the story so I am going to continue.
I love Factorio but never had the idea to pick it up on a controller but maybe i should try it out sometime.
Most of them are. Just make profit NOW!!
