I thought Brother would be better than HP. It wasn’t. I’ve had a lot of success for years with a Canon laser printer/scanner hooked up wired to my router. When I switched to Linux, it was simply detected and works with a lot of programs without even trying to install a Canon driver.

My smart TV is a dumb TV so long as I never give it any internet connection.

To be honest, I’d judge people who have fridges with a screen. Completely unnecessary. This problem is easily solved.

Assumptions like these tend to go wrong for neurodivergent groups.

Go learn simple regression analysis (not necessarily the commenter, but anyone). Then you’ll understand why it’s simply a prediction machine. It’s guessing probabilities for what the next character or word is. It’s guessing the average line, the likely followup. It’s extrapolating from data.

This is why there will never be “sentient” machines. There is and always will be inherent programming and fancy ass business rules behind it all.

We simply set it to max churn on all data.

Also just the training of these models has already done the energy damage.

So it requires the effort and capability to go to a place that happens to have those cards. In some areas, that is more difficult and unlikely than others, and can be more difficult for the less financially fortunate.

Thus there’s added utility cost to the person when otherwise the existing digital payment model would be more accessible.

i.e. it’s a regressive solution and less ideal.

I liken it to the utility or economic tax that is attempting to vote in some areas where they make it more difficult to actually do it.

• Parking Garage Rally Circuit is pretty fun and runs well.
• V-Rally 4 is pretty smooth as well if you turn down settings a little bit. I love that it has a unique hill climb road in eastern Europe that Top Gear or Grand Tour covered. I don’t remember the name.
• Truck Racer is a fun ps3-era arcade style game.

I have yet to play them on Steam Deck, hut I’ve played these on other consoles and loved them:

3 Dub Edition was also great. I still have the music in my head.

The eye grabbing lights and glass covers are fucking idiotic. My best builds are black towers, great airflow, minimal lights, and barely any noise. I’m focused on the game, not the machine.
