Honestly? It’s highly individualized.

The best one is probably one that you already use and care about, and want to improve.

Choosing some random project will not really provide motivation in learning the code base, figuring out how to implement a change, etc.

I wish we’d see more of this. In my opinion, once a company has a market cap over a certain amount, they should not be eligible for tax breaks. Taxing them literally hurts nobody!

I do think that would be neat but wonder how payments might be integrated from a technical perspective. I also wonder if there are any regulations that would get in the way or if it would even apply to something like that.

Agreed. Explaining the risks has always worked better for me than explaining the benefits. Most companies only care about their bottom line.

Vivaldi has been a good middle ground for me. Privacy respecting but still has features I want. It’s not perfect, but nothing is.
