Looking to build a collection that I just outright own, so any streaming platform that doesn’t allow me to download the raw files is a no go. Other than the big players (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) what are some good sources for buying?

I am not aware of any reputated place where drm-free raw file downloading of the movies/shows you bought is possible. The best and easy way is ripping your dvds and blurays

A big under rated source is your local library. Mine has a few hundred dvds and blu-rays and they add a few more every month.

Just gotta get them first before other people scratch up the discs. About half the movies I borrow from my library have read/write errors
