Unwittingly had ‘sex’ with a child, realised it was a child, had ‘sex’ a second time.
And wrote a song about it. And then wrote it into his autobiography.
How this man apparently skated through the #MeToo movement unscathed is truly baffling.

People get a little weird in reception towards musicians and the things they do.
Michael Jackson is a glaring example. Sure, he was the butt-end of decades of jokes until the things he’s done with children got out for everyone to know. But still, there are millions of defenders for him who just simply - look past that. Because reasons.
And I am sure if more things came out about the rockstars boomers hail as the ‘last generation of good music’ would look past some of the things they’ve done too.
It’s fucking weird.
These were never substantiated. In fact some children came forward and said that their parents coached them to say these things.
Two takes:
The circumstances point more to the latter. I personally believe that a bunch of greedy bastards were after money and had no problem destroying someone’s life in the process.
That said, he did confess to some pretty weird behaviour with the kids. Like sharing a bed with them. Now maybe nothing happened, but it’s a bit of a red flag.
I don’t think any of the MJ “child abuse” claims were ever substantiated or proven and MJ was acquitted in court. The whole thing looked like a smear campaign to dirty his name due to disputes over the rights to music
