changing the DNS works when the site has been banned for not complying, is how I understood.
there’s no banning or blocking of social media sites
if you’re talking about the government blocklist which blocks like child abuse and terrorist websites at an ISP DNS level then yeah it would work, but it’s completely unrelated to the under 16 social media ban
