    To me AI is just a slur for profit-driven computer slop. Can we please distinguish between chatbots & Co. and actual useful machine learning like this kind of image recognition?

    We used to just call this “machine vision” or more commonly “image recognition” now it’s used to white wash LLMs and image generation.
