The change is due to new age verification laws in the UK.

      LPT: Turn safe search off, and you don’t even need the NSFW subreddits. You can search for adult anything and those results are guaranteed to contain porn. Usually, the more you scroll, more hard core it gets. When you go deep enough, you’ll eventually start finding furries too.

        Sounds like a bad way to do things. Won’t you end up with gore on your feed? Not to mention it would be hard to filter out really dehumanizing, gross porn (which is frankly a description that fits most of it anyway)

      Yes, the federated model might make it somewhat harder for governments to enforce these kinds of laws. Until those governments catch up. 🙁

        balkanization of all types always seems to be the answer to these sorts of dystopian laws and i hope that it happens despite evidence contrary.
