I’ve been using YouTube since forever, and it’s the only corporate social media platform (beside Discord) that I still use. However, I would like to explore PeerTube, does anyone have some recommendations for good PeerTube channels and other tips and tricks for PeerTube itself?
Theres quite a few on [email protected]. Check it out
I have heard of Tankie.tube
Have only seen the official launch video

It seems quite goodThere are a lot of audiobooks for theory on that instance, so it’s useful for anyone wanting to get into leftist theory.
Cool. I remember following Dessalines on youtube for audiobooks. Are they available there too?
Also, I read/listened some of the books that you recommended. Probably didn’t understand or remember it all, but it was useful.
Thank you.
Tired to read Capital. It seems tricky/weird for me.
I’m not a native speaker of English. So maybe that too.Is there any summarised Intro to Marxist Theory/ Dialectical Materialism book, that is relatively more recent(and freely available on the net)?
Some of Dessalines’ audiobooks are on TT, I think!
I wouldn’t recommend Capital for a beginner, I’m reading through volumes 1-3 this year and it certainly helps that I’ve read more from Marx, Engels, etc before jumping into it.
As for an intro to Marxist theory, that’s a very broad question. The clearest intro to DiaMat in my opinion is Politzer’s Elementary Principles of Philosophy, have you tried that one? For Marxism in general, I prefer Principles of Communism, but Dessalines keeps a Crash Course on Socialism that I also like.
Thanks for reading some of what I recommend! Do you have any particular struggle areas? I think the best thing to do would be to see if there is a good Communist party in your native language and ask if they have study material for you, education is a big part of org work and they may have a course that is especially tuned for your particular environment and language.
Thank you
I’m from Kerala, India. We do have communist parties here. The Left front govt, with very significant communist party presence was elected into power here.
Searching for their content on youtube, I see that they do discuss the theoretical aspects. I think the parties here are focused more on the praxis aspect and only teach the Marxist ideology to party members and not supporters or people in associated orgs. The local elders in my area seeg
Internet searches are tricky, since non-English content is relatively less indexed/recommended. Have found some websites of theirs tho, like Chintha.in
If you know any resources related to Kerala/India, please do share themI am sorry, I am not the most familiar with Kerala. I would see if you can contact the Communist Party and ask if they have study materials, they likely do for cadre but would usually be willing to provide if people ask.
Will do that.
Thank you. Your reading list and the resources from Dessalines that you shared are quite cool.
Thank you! Good luck!
