no, rms the autist with no ability to read the room. he’s never been a pedo, he just has permanent foot-in-mouth disease.

yeah i’ve followed the entire conversation for years. he’s not fit to run the fsf but he’s also not done anything illegal. when i read the interview in which he explained that he rescinded his statements on relations with people who are underage after consulting with a psychologist, i read it as the words of someone who lives in a completely rules-based world: he did not believe it would cause harm because there was nothing in his experience thus far that pointed to that. after having it explained to him by a professional, he changed his mind. the man has no tact, he runs entirely and completely on rationalism. when new information comes up that puts his beliefs into question, his beliefs align with that information almost instantly. but if the source is not authoritative, he disregards it. it’s a very useful form of neurodivergence for a scientist, but not for a public figure.

Why defend pedophilia if he isn’t a pedophile? The lady doth protest overmuch.

I’ll try not to say I told you so when the story eventually comes out.

Waiting for imaginary events to happen is not needed. We already know how these things actually turn out.

Here’s a lesson, don’t pedosmear without a proper trial. Also People who tend to throw the pedo label quite liberally eventually got outed as pedophiles themselves.
