    I stopped liking the Oscars when Shakespeare in Love won for best picture (and it turns out it’s all fake anyway), but this, at least, sets a precedent.

    What if sentience is proven? Will they amend the rules or will there be an alternate awards for the non-blood sacks?

      it would definately have to be alternate. It pretty much would be the same with like the olympics.
