Sony is deleting 551 movies and TV shows you bought on PlayStation, because you don't really own your digital purchases— John Wick, Paddington, and Terminator 2 are among the titles–no refunds offered

And they wonder why I don’t buy digital movies or shows lol.

Remember, they could have easily negotiated license terms that wouldn’t have had this outcome for people who already paid. They chose not to. This wasn’t forced on them unexpectedly.

Why anyone still does this dumb shit is beyond me.

I still have an ancient ass 4-bay Drobo with four 6TB hard drives full of content nobody will ever take from me.
