Today’s game is some more Jedi Survivor. I have some gripes with the games graphics in some places, namely some horrendous culling and pop in, but I would like to admire the graphical effects, like that highlight on Greez being cast by the Warp Vortex Thingy. I know it’s probably a minute little detail, but it’s something that threw me off.

I ran into Dagan again too. I really like this guy as a main antagonist. I just wish he was more involved. He feels like he’s been there a total of twice and that’s it. I wish there was more.

I like that he stays one armed, and I like his pseudo-brotherhood with Rayvis, albeit their bond over wars was weirdly touching. I like characters like that. Specifically villains. I wish we had more.

Also. Droidekas show up. I love these guys. They’re my favorite of the Clone Wars era battle droids. Something about them is oddly satisfying to me. I think it’s the shape plus their shield.

Anyways, today was a pretty light gaming session (here’s an alternative shot of Dagan though), I’m going to be busy these next few days, thankfully I have the foresight to setup systems for doing these even off network or on the go, so I should be set to keep these up, even if they’ll be a little out of place with my recent trends.

  • Personally, I think the combat in that game is WONDERFUL. So smooth! It makes you feel like a Jedi and a badass when you get it right, and there are a lot of customization options with it. That part of the game is a 10/10 for me, on the level of Sekiro but less restrictive.

While I do agree, it drives me nuts that you can only equip two lightsaber stances at a time. Resulted in a lot of backtracking to meditation points when different enemy types or a boss popped up and pushed my shit in.

      • I can understand that. They were definitely a few problems ancillary to the actual combat that I had with the game. Once I had my favorite lightsaber stances though and fully upgraded them, oh man did I feel like an unstoppable Jedi!
