When people tell me I must know some Taylor Swift songs, I try to explain that I’ve probably heard some, but there’s just nothing in them that catches my interest so I just forget them immediately. This is a good way to explain what I mean. I recognize the pattern enough to say, “yeah, that sounds like it could be Taylor Swift”, but it’s all so forgettable.

Pretty funny, pretty accurate too. But, I can definitely hear the lack of Flea.

It’s like 95% RHCP 5% Beck. “Stepped on a toad, broke a Navajo code, now it’s time to reiterate: California.”
Honestly, this isn’t bad. I’ve read way worse writing than these lyrics.
There are degrees, and this particular artist is pretty far down the spectrum for the extent of AI use, not relying on AI for any of the creative parts.
It’s written/composed by a human and performed by a human, then fed through a voice changer that relies on AI as a filter.
As someone who has been forced to listen to her music for the past 13 years (my wife is a huge Swiftie and my kids are too) it’s pretty damn close!
True, only time I heard any of her songs was a school playback and they could have used that instead as far as I’m concerned

I don’t think I’ve listened to any Taylor Swift songs since she said Romeo and Juliet was a love story.

Romeo and Juliet is one of the most famous love stories ever written. Like many Shakespeare plays, it is also met with and often consumed by tragedy.
Was hoping they would do a version of Taylor slips, falls, and stubs her toe on things. But that would be just softcore ASMR.
