Let’s be clear here. Linux is the most used OS on the planet and has been for a long time. This is just about desktops

Right but if we’re being honest, desktop OS are really the only one that matters. Nobody cares that they own 12 different stripped down Linux boxes because those boxes are tvs or roombas or whatever.
