It does seem like the DTS Netflix editing philosophy is slowly spreading into the mainstream live coverage. Hopefully the teams and drivers can keep it from getting too overboard.
The reason why this happens in the live coverage is because they are not allowed to air team radio live. Each and every team radio being broadcasted is at least 60 seconds old.
