The bigger question is do they care. At worst they get a slap on the wrist by the US government. At best they get to control the narrative and have books like having history books on their platform talk about how the the Allies first striked Nazi Germany because they were lifting the country out of economic crisis and making the world a better place.
I doubt they’ll care or listen if EU says stop since they’ll just find a way around whatever they have planned to try and stop revisionist ideology from taking hold.

I swear, getting a letter and/or email about your piracy is definitely a rite of passage. My parents have definitely gotten a couple for things I’ve done (since they pay for the service) and I regret nothing.
Probably not accurate whatsoever, but I like to think ISPs and such refuse to drop your service if they’re a big enough ISP because that’s less money for their greedy cannon fodder of a CEO and won’t do anything unless the government or a larger company comes along either serving them a lawsuit or legal letters/documents.

I don’t know. All I can say is it’s definitely related to the Internet causing slang to change faster than ever before. That, and the whole “censor yourself because large companies are family friendly pussies” culture that perverts the Internet. So it’s probably a combination of things like that.
Even as someone who grew up in the US, I always feel left out of the cultural landscape in a lot of ways. But that’s my own fault for walking to the beat of my own drum a lot of the time. I ain’t got time to learn shitty new slang or watch brain rotting videos or use most any social media out there (despite the fact I’m doing it more than ever thanks to Lemmy and Mastodon).

But ask me anything about recent pop culture references and slang and I’ll draw a blank. Anything from Game of Thrones outside the popular memes like that “Winter is coming!” meme and I’m lost. That horrendous sk*bidi bullshit? Absolutely no clue other than it’s 200% garbage. Ask me the latest Internet trends and best I can say is AI filth and ruination most everywhere instead of any of the social media trends that people are actually asking about.
Works for Sonic 3D Blast on Genesis and probably the other games as well, but BARRACUDA (b a right right a c up d a) for certain things. I’d like to think it’s debug mode, but I don’t fully remember since it’s been more than a few months since I last played and tried on either 3D Blast, 1, or 2.

It’s absolutely amazing how we went from the majority of people not knowing how to use a computer in the beginning of computers to everyone knowing how to do at least the bare minimum on a computer in the 2000s to now circling back to the majority of people not knowing how to use a computer because pretty much everything they do can and probably is done on a phone. It’s also real scary to think since I’d assume most of us Gen Z-ers aren’t properly able to object to privacy eroding tech bills because we’re too tech illiterate to understand the impacts.
Couple days ago I accidentally removed a package, not fully understanding what would happen. Ended up logging out thinking nothing of it. Couldn’t log back in as there were zero sessions available. Also, for some reason a huge on-screen keyboard kept popping up a lot when I’d click on the login panels things.
I am very grateful my distro came with Timeshift by default and that I had a backup from the day before to fix everything. Also glad Rescuezilla allowed me to install Timeshift and restore.
Doesn’t matter who you are or what you believe, it’s definitely a rite of passage to break your system once. That is something I’ll always agree with.
