Don’t make me do stuff.

Easy to see why Max refused to be part of DTS for a time. He gets villainized pretty regularly by the normal media and Netflix turns that to 11. In the beginning I thought it was cool that something was bringing new fans to F1. Now I believe it does more harm than good, causing unnecessary grief for drivers as well as causing conflict within the fanbase.
Drivers are real people with real lives, not actors. Netflix intentionally blurs that line for profit by spinning false narratives for views. It’s ridiculous and has spilled over into press conferences and commentary, and it can’t end soon enough. None of them deserve to have lies told about them directly, through omission, or through deceptive editing.
Netflix can get fucked.
A polished experience is preferable but with piracy you kind of have to take what you can get. I need to figure out a way to stream it to my tvs that lets me swap streams quickly if one goes down. On PC it’s a couple of clicks but with a remote everything is more clunky.
I don’t watch from PC anymore. All my viewing these days is on a tv or occasionally on my phone if I’m away from home. I probably just need to set up something to watch pirated streams from my TV but I’ve been procrastinating about it.
How is the 🏴☠️ scene for F1? I’ve been a long time F1TV subscriber but I’m considering cancelling while MBS the 🤡 is mucking things up. If you feel more comfortable responding with a DM that’s fine.
May god have mercy on the souls of Honda engineers if they give Fernando a GP2 engine again. The team radio will be legendary.
The wildcard (if the media can be believed, lol) will be how loyal Max is to a Red Bull team without their star aero designer. If he moves that will cause all sorts of stuff to happen that wouldn’t otherwise.
It would be amazing to see him land a podium or a win after the rollercoaster career with HAAS.
Nice to see a mix of young talent and experience. Also a number of teams staying with the same lineup unless silly season produces something crazy this year.
Second the Ironfox recommendation.
Went from Google to Proton and have since moved on from Proton. If there’s one thing I wish I would’ve thought of before switching it would’ve been not using a single provider for everything.
At the end of the day it got me off Google, but with more or less the same situation I started with. Everything I was using was housed by one company. If they go under or turn evil you’re scrambling to replace all your online services at once all over again. That isn’t something I’m comfortable with so I split my service selection up and moved to multiple companies for the services I actually use.
Having everything in one place is super convenient until something happens that makes you want or need to move again. I’m happier now and ended up paying a bit less overall which is cool.
