I was looking into revanced for it, but it looks like it doesn’t work without ads since January. I’d just get MP3s but I don’t have the storage for that many songs even on my PC, let alone my phone where I usually listen to music.

I had been enjoying premium for about 6 years now without being charged, but they finally tried charging me the other day and, since the card I had on file is 3 years expired, I am back to having friggin’ ads 😩

Their reasoning was that disk sales are only like, 6% iirc, of their game sales. It might cost more to produce them than it makes up for in sales.

And while you can’t install them to the device, since it’s just streaming them to my knowledge, there is the PS Portal device to play them on the go. It’s not a very well-liked device, tho; have no opinion myself as I’ve never even seen one IRL, let alone used one.

Not all the different services talk to each other in a way that you can use just 1 account for the entire fediverse. Lemmy, Piefed and Mastodon can all cross communicate (tho afaik Mastodon is one way only-you can post to Lemmy from Mastodon, but not Lemmy to Mastodon); but none of them communicate with Matrix. So you need at least 2 accounts if you wanted to use all of these services.

They can be installed on multiple devices at once, yeah; but the only device a PS5 game can be installed to is a PS5. Which isn’t that different from not being able to install PC games to anything other than a PC.

And the cloud thing: Do you mean saving the game itself to reinstall it, in which the answer is “yes,” or game saves, which the answer would be “unfortunately, no. Storing saves on the cloud requires PS+?” I assume you mean the latter, but sometimes people on this site use weird definitions for what they mean, so forgive me for having to ask.

Is that an 11 thing? I’m still on 10, and never heard of the OS itself updating a BIOS.

Maybe it’s their bot filter thing preventing it from loading?

Well that can’t last forever. Eventually everyone born in 1966 will have died. Then who’s going to perform?

I always get the 404 error if the post itself was from those instances (even if I check comments made in those posts’ threads). If the main post is from anywhere else, I can still see their users’ votes on the post or any comments also not from .ml or db0 users.

You can block the instance itself and do that; users posting outside the instance’s own communities are not blocked via the instance blocking feature. It essentially just mass blocks all the communities on the instance, not any of the users.

The devs are the admins of .ml. Supporting them supports their dumbfuck views.

Indeed. Funny how the only two instances I have run into that block Lemvotes are the ones that commonly have goon squads brigading threads and abusive admins.
