  • If you need fake Internet points to motivate you to be a good person then you are probably not a good person.

I’m not saying you specifically OP, but just in general. If karma was the only reason someone was civil on reddit that gives off the same vibes as the people who ask why we aren’t out raping and murdering if we don’t believe in God.

  • I would say that I out loud laugh at comments here pretty often. Not because they were trying to be funny, but because these people are so unbelievably disconnected from reality that some of the shit they say is just hilarious.

My only other real complaints on Lemmy is the lack of user feedback and the laughable moderation. Often times I’ll be banned from a sub without me knowing so it just gives me errors for trying to upvote or leave a comment. Just tell me it’s because I’m banned. Giving me an error just makes me wonder if that instance is down or something.

I have been banned from subs I’ve never even interacted with simply because they saw I had comments with lots of downvotes. That’s ridiculous. I have received several bans for rules I haven’t broken. I have lost track of how many comments have been deleted by “automod” days after I left the comment. It’s clearly just a mod using the automod as a layer of anonymity.

Overall I have had an alright experience with Lemmy. Some users are very kind and helpful. Many of them are elitist snobs that think they are the most intelligent humans put on this planet.

I thought reddit was a left wing echo chamber at times and then I got here. I didn’t realize how much worse it could get.

  • Believe me as a redbull fan for the last ~10 years I have been greatly disappointed with my teams choices around livery changes lol.

I think the black Merc was slick in 2020.

The 2022 Ferrari looked great imo.

I just don’t know if it’s possible for modern F1 to have anything like the Jordan 7up car or the MP4/4 from McLaren. Something where a single advertiser drives the design of the vehicle to a point of beauty.

  • This must be why all the shows feel like they were written by a high schooler. Constantly repeating information like the viewer isn’t paying attention. Constant visual AND auditory exposition.

Netflix and streaming as a whole enjoyed a brief reign at the top, but unfortunately they never learned their lesson and we ended up right back where we started.

Too many tv channel packages=more sailing of the high seas. When they made it so almost everything could be found in one place for a small fee we all rejoiced and many got off the ship. But then they went right back to too many channel packages (just now in the form of a hundred individual streaming services) and now we return once more to the high seas.
