As soon as everything has reported (I don’t wait for it to come in the mail). We generally file as early as allowed. We’ve already gotten our Federal refund back. Now state, this one takes AGES, probably won’t see it till April sadly.

Bingo. I really wish Explorer, OneDrive, and Microsoft’s office stuff would support tags. It would actually help me in the workplace unlike the CoPilot initiative.
The CEO and C Suite are the least important people in a company. They can be changed out with relatively little interruption and it takes a lot longer to see the effects. However, you have an on the ground workforce stop producing and the effects are immediate and long lasting.
Thanks for posting this. That’s disgusting how much it’s gone up in a year.
Mlem gives you an “outdated/refresh“ modal button. I’ve only noticed it in the inbox though.
You agreed to do a job for the means of production or a mission of some sort with a goal. Politics generally has nothing to do with that directly. This is why everyone else keeps the tradition of politics, religion, etc taboo in the workplace. It only slows down that goal and/or outright derails it. It’s not healthy or productive for the companies needs.
If you don’t like that, go open your own business and see if it thrives under your current views. Generally, they make the worst, most toxic businesses for people to work for.
Was going to post this. They’re just burying their heads in the sand.
Lemmy’s onboarding is trash and so is the main UI. Get away from that and it’s actually great. BUT, most people used the Reddit app when Reddit still allowed 3rd party apps and access so you HAVE to appeal to the masses, no matter how dumb you think they are. Don’t complain about not having mass appeal if you don’t want mass appeal or listen to them and make the change they’re asking for.
The only thing good about Reddit is that is where everyone is. Full stop.
Don’t forget to adblock them so you’re draining the resources, minutely and slowly, but draining nonetheless.
It’s not just cosmetic. Hair keeps the heat from escaping the head so quickly and, more importantly, it helps keep the head from getting sunburned and skin cancer.
Check out the many OTR Gold podcasts that have the serialized shows as episodes.
It’s amazing that the sound hasn’t changed much to today’s modern horns. Absolutely awesome.
That was great. I learned about this in a copyright for music class in school but hearing this way really shows you what extent they sampled it.
Not to mention the server is the bottleneck at that point. I have access to 2.5Gb/2.5Gb but only pay for 500/500 because, even that is faster than most servers, and of course all the mobile devices aren’t pushing more than 400 on WiFi.
When they’re every few minutes, screw that. I do.
It does, it’s just not consistent. Mlem is. I still have Voyager and check it every once in a while.
I loved Apollo and appreciate Voyager but it doesn’t respect hiding read posts very well so I turned to Mlem which is now my favorite. The v2 beta is even better, adding easy markdown formatting and some nicer UI enhancements (the vote counter scrolling up or down on vote is a nice touch).
My asshole is definitely not a narcissist.
