Where I live, every principal is assigned a list of homeschooled children in their district and monitors their progress. If they are diligent, it seems to work out well. I know several well-adjusted, lovely children who have been homeschooled.

Good question. I’ll check that. While I don’t have a problem with the concept of a down vote, I feel like it negates discussion. I’d rather have someone express their opinion if they have a problem with my comments, rather than mindlessly slap a down vote on it.

Yup. You can do both or either.

That’s interesting. I wonder how it affects how people post and comment.

I wonder what the difference would be if we eliminated down votes?

Any water that drains from sinks, showers, or tubs is grey water. Offices, schools, and government buildings here(Canada) do it to save water.

Some places collect grey water and use it for flushing toilets. Adding urine to the grey water makes it smelly.

You could just power down for a while.

There are billions of areas in the universe that are millions of years older than us. Considering the amount we’ve advanced in the last 125 years, it seems likely some of them would be space travelors by now.
Whitewash is a paint-like covering that was used to make a surface look nicer.

It depends on the country.

Yeah, I taught elementary school for 22 years. Five sick days in all that time. I’m guessing my antibodies were going full bore the whole time.

I wondered how long it would take for that to come up.

I don’t know what that means.

Yeah, I should’ve made that clear from the start.

Hospitals. You end up seeing a lot of serious things and it tends to make you think disease is everywhere.
Another question would be who does crazier things, the young or the old?

Yeah, I was trying to be funny. Obviously not succeeding.
Yeah, but it depends on the diligence of the principal, so not perfect.
