California legitimately has some of the worst laws of any state. I really struggle to see what exactly is supposed to be progressive about it.

They are both working towards the same goals, they just oppress us from different angles. Like Dems take your guns, then Republicans come take away abortions, now it’s a lot harder to fight back since dems took tge guns… Thats just one example, every issue they pick up ends up with a similar back and forth where they amplify each others work.
