Strip clubs also love them.
Maybe. But they may just paste it without GPT attribution, so we’ll see.
I’m getting that more and more. “I asked ChatGPT and it said”. Dude, we work for the same company and I could have typed that in, and maybe I did. I wanted your experience with it, that’s why I asked you.
Make sure they know they just lost input right ms the next time. No, I don’t ask Harry, he just quoted GPT last time, and I’d already asked it this time so there was no reason to involve him. Nothing worse for a lead than people not wanting them to lead because they’ve abdicated the job to spicy autocorrect.

Technology@lemmy.world•Admiral Grace Hopper on Future Possibilities: Data, Hardware, Software, and People (1982)English
1 monthAs a ln adult it pisses me off that I heard about her as a kid because of the whole “computer bug” thing, but only learned about the whole “invented the first compiler” as an adult. The minimization of women (Karen Sparck Jones, Katherine Goble, Margaret Hamilton… hell, even Ada Lovelace!) is a stain on the profession.

1 monthFor those unaware, she was a driving force in technology. The one most people know her for was the creation of the term “computer bug”, but she helped create COBOL and helped develop the earliest compilers. She was smart as hell and one of the major innovators. You don’t know about her in part because she was military (this was only released a year ago) and because she was a woman.

It’s not beautiful in this case. Doesn’t handle color blindness.
The key is the attachments. The pasta maker is decent, the grinder is great. Honestly, while I don’t use it weekly I certainly use it monthly.

2 monthsMice aren’t meant for too much of ANYTHING. A friend in ChemE said the mice that got cancer from saccharin (Sweet N Low) were the size of plates, they had gained so many calories from such a large dose.

Okay, is that actually wonderful news? If it’s doing nothing for the GDP, and the GDP went up, something is still causing that, right? So does that mean the economy is in less of a bubble than we’d thought, that we’re actually growing despite AI?

2 monthsThat it doesn’t handle DNS requests is DUM. It’s a VPN-lite, but just for your browser, okay, that could be useful. But without DNS it’s giving a false sense of security.
