I don’t think anyone expected them to seed on purpose but its not inconceivable that they’d accidentally let some seeding through, or not consider it in the first place.

The point is petting dogs and the warmth of their smile, crying and laughing at movies and books and music and art of all forms, its supporting your fellow being, its finally cracking some problem that you’ve been trying to solve for ages.

As others have said, if nothing we do matters then the only thing that matters is what we do. Be kind, seek joy, seek experiences, punch fascists, pet animals. Be kind.

I had to stop drinking carbonated beverages and caffeinated beverages at the advice of my voice trainer - and I kicked the habit by getting some fruit juice concentrate and drinking that (diluted in water obviously) when I was craving a fizzy drink. It didn’t take long for me to stop craving them entirely, honestly. If its the fizzy part you crave, then add it to sparkling water instead. Good luck stranger.

If your partner is a craftsy type, you could suggest that they craft something for you. It was always those gifts that meant the most to me when I was with someone craftsy. It doesn’t have to have utility, or be perfect, it just means the world that someone spent time and thought creating something for you.
