This is also true of large corporations in general, in the US. Tax breaks, loopholes, and similar everywhere – if you’re rich enough. Privatized profits, but socialized losses.
Telegram is the worst kind of “secure” messaging in that it gives you a false sense of security while not really being secure.
True, though such services are in the extreme minority at this point.
