I was stoked for BF6 until it wanted me to enable Secure Boot and install rootkit anti-cheat. Now with the Saudis and Jared Kushner in charge installing a rootkit to play a game is an even worse idea. Maybe if I only used the computer for gaming.

Same here with not wanting to further fund Amazon. All I can say is beware of eBay sellers, because I’ve ordered like four things from eBay and they still drop shipped from Amazon. Frustrating.
But Disney has also been tearing down the imaginary heroes with movies like Captain America Civil War and The Last Jedi.
Trying No Man’s Sky for probably the third time. It’s clicked a bit better this time. I jumped back in because of the Corvette building, took me probably a week of evenings to finally be able to build one. It’s pretty darn good, I think it finally clicked. The storyline still feels like the longest checklist tutorial ever, 30+ hours in.
Isn’t/wasn’t he a programmer? He can’t possibly believe what he is saying.
Never heard of this one, looks cool.
My current favorite is Tetris Plus, the versus mode with the little professor guy trying to get the treasure while a spiked ceiling keeps falling is fun. When one player fills 2 or more lines it adds random junk to the other player’s board.
The aesthetic of Starfield is excellent. The planets are beautiful but you can only access one small square of surface at a time. The ship flight and navigation is simplistic but the combat and boarding is fun. In fact I can’t really think of a better game for ship boarding.
But overall Starfield somehow is less than the sum of its parts.
It’s amazing to me that cloud computing is so profitable that they can run inefficient gas generators to power it.
People don’t think about the internet being fossil fuel powered.
Also be aware that Amazon donated one million dollars to the Trump inauguration and is a sponsor of the Jun 14 military parade.
There you go. So many people will give a fingerprint or photo ID to get what they want. Not worth it.
