  • I’m about to block you, but I thought I’d explain why first so you can address it before others do the same. Please note that this isn’t being said in any malicious way what so ever. This is purely about advertising practices, not your content.

    By posting the same picture in a bunch of different communities at the same time, it can flood people’s feeds. Seeing the same post over and over is pretty annoying. Even if I like the content, I’m inclined to block the poster.

    I get the process of building up a customer base requires self promotion, but flooding the market is going to turn a lot of people off to what you want to sell. It’s all a balancing act.

    Lemmy isn’t active enough for the frequency of identical content that you’re providing. You’ll have better luck spacing things out like 60% more, or generating more unique content and spacing it out like 40% more.

    I’m not sure if cross-posting to other communities instead of creating new posts will help that, but it might be worth a try.
