We had a reconstruction program as well as military governors in a handful of States down there after the Civil War, grants was pretty checked out and his administration was super corrupt, and his successor in the 1876 election, Hayes lost. They had those military Governors send competing slates of electors saying they won and there is a big brewhaha and it was decided they would allow the Republicans to steal that election with Hayes as president for ending reconstruction.

This deal would have been part of the agreements made with the US Administration. Part of the capitulation to illiberal forces.

I would not blame the dogs so much is the handlers. The handlers can get a false positive on command.

Mysteriously my ip is banned from editing when I tried to view talk on a suspect edit, even though I have never once edited a page or even accessed that part by this ip. None on former ip’s either.

Ip is on some shady brazillian blacklist so maybe that is it idk, everyone just trusting shady internet players.
