It may be a proper remake, not just a remaster.

Nah it’s still ten, especially if you grew up in a place that doesn’t include tax in the price. That’s easily getting to mid 8 after tax, and that might as well be ten.

I mean this came up when I posted the story myself, and I immediately tried to launch the game to test it and it worked fine. Another user reported it was fine too.
To be clear, I’m not defending them using their own account service for the cloud saves either, because it is dumb to do so when Steam offers that functionality.

Why do you say that? I thought that it was an interesting story. Miyazaki’s comments have cultural significance imho.

Got a solid chuckle out of me with that one.

That’s such an exaggeration. Do you know how many people played BG3 without ever even knowing 1 or 2 existed, let alone played them?
Or hell, how many people played Witcher 3 without ever reading the books or playing the first two games.

Or the much more likely scenario, it is the 2019 version that released on consoles with in game cheats like no encounter mode, sped up mode, etc.

Is this not only for cloud saves?

You know you don’t have to watch it.

Also, like, I’m not sure it holds up when thinking about FOSS. Is Nextcloud anti competitive against Microsoft because you can self host the software for free?

That makes a lot of sense, thanks for explaining it.

I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or not (Poe’s Law, and all) so just to be safe I’ll remark that releasing a product at an affordable cost is the opposite of anti competitive.

Gabe could afford to eat the price spikes of the components and sell a reasonably priced machine.
But he won’t.

Don’t apologize for enjoying a game.

Won’t be switching back to Windows any time soon.

I think the original comment was being just a tad facetious.

This feels like some really niche gatekeeping.
I could never get certs working over locally served stuff, but Nginx Proxy Manager made the few things I publish to web fairly easy to get https working. I’m just commenting to come back later and read the answers myself… Let me know if you get it working over Lan!
My partner just uses mealie’s built in shopping cart.
