I’m sorry but you’re enabling this behavior. When I take an official holiday, I’m unavailable for work, simple as that. Work is a part of my life, not the definition of my life.

Vacation is vacation. They have a right to a vacation just like I do. The system should have safeguards in place. I don’t want the elected to have a burnout, just in the same way that I don’t want to have a burnout.

When I have vacation, I don’t want to be bothered with work related stuff either. I understand their want for a vacation, and they should not be blamed. The system that allows this chicanery is at fault here.

Lisps are elegant and one of my favorite languages to hack with.

Those 15 hours are really cool though.

In a fight today I ran out of ammo, threw my pistol at a guy’s head, rushed him and banged his head against a table, then grabbed a mug of coffee and threw it at another guy, disarmed him and kicked his SMG up to my hands, turning 180 degrees and shooting the last two remaining baddies, all in span of about four seconds.

This is not scripted, and everything requires an input. It was one of the most cinematic action sequences I’ve ever played.

The game does have pacing issues though, and there are lots of filler scenes, but the action is immaculate.

A company can do good, that doesn’t mean I will lick their boots. Google had arguably the best search engine. Doesn’t mean I am not going to hate Google any less. Companies are not my friends. I use what I use and get what use I can get out of them, and I am ready for the moment they turn to shit (which WILL happen).

Don’t be daft. You don’t need to know more than the dozen you already know. Wikimedia, stack overflow, Reddit and whatnot. For everything else you can still use a meta search engine.
