Man, Synology has really gotten worse every year.
Pretty sure they would have been better off just making more cosmetics and charging us for it.
There is no way I will support this from Capcom.
Damn, it really happened. Crazy.
Yeah it’s basically like Reddit and it’s interoperable with Lemmy and Mbin.
Maybe just imagine them as different ways to view the same content and they each offer their own features.
But essentially they are the Reddit replacement of the fediverse.
Too much. Honestly.
I hope people vote with their wallets.
Oh man the Hell House made me chuckle because it was in the original and it’s just so absurd to see it in high definition graphics haha.
So happy to follow along with your screen shots. I love this series and game and it’s nice to see other people go through it too.
I am experimenting with Jellyfish this month and really enjoying it.
I have a lifetime pass from Plex from a long time ago so it’s my fallback now. And because of that I wasn’t sure if I should try Emby since … Well you have to pay. And I already have Plex.
But I’m curious … Because it feels like everyone who uses Emby is very happy with it and swears by it. And generally they all feel like Jellyfin is generally inferior to it.
Seems like Emby is a better Jellyfin that you have to pay for if you want all those premier features (I would).
Also, what’s to stop Emby from turning into Plex?
I got the Plex lifetime pass over 10 years ago for pretty cheap and Plex has served me well over the years. But it’s just so damn bloated now and the biggest recent change to their android app is atrocious. The app is so laggy and slow now. And downloading movies to watch locally on a tablet is just painful.
So I decided to start experimenting with Jellyfin this month and I am blown away at how fast and snappy everything is. It still isn’t as refined as Plex but there’s something to be said about privacy and using FOSS apps.
I’ll be using Jellyfin going forward now.
It does feel like the market is so saturated now.
In the end it’s up to us to vote with our wallets and spend how we want.
My gaming backlog is so big … I don’t really feel the need to buy new games unless it’s something universally loved, like Clair Obscure.
Aside from that, I really ought to work on my backlog.
Whether I succeed in this impulse control is another story … Lol.
It feels like the fediverse is more important than ever with all that’s going on.
I do generally wish there was more content. So I’ve decided to start actively participating rather than lurking more recently.
Feels like subscriptions are inevitable for everything these days.
I still remember playing this game a long time ago.
Honestly, what an amazing game and it still holds up today.
