It’s about time! I’ve wanted to buy a European for years but never knew where to look

I mean well, and I want to have hope for the future, but I’m depressed and have untreated ADHD and a desperate need for therapy, and I do worry that I’m letting all that influence how I talk to strangers online.

I’m probably too harsh sometimes, or not harsh enough, or dumb, or stupid, etc, more often than I’d like.

So yeah, I generally regret or worry over everything I say to everyone at some point or another. I suck xD But I’m too lonely to switch off and not talk to anyone entirely, so here we are.

I agree, I don’t want my browser provider to collect any data on me at all, but if they absolutely must gather the absolute minimum system analytics stats or such they should NEVER pass it to a third party for ANY reason.

You make a desktop browser application, that’s your job, to provide a portal to the world wide web, nothing more. Stay within your bounds and we’ll never have any problem.

You’re saying if the workers at that company wish to raise an issue as a group, like holiday hours, pension plans, or clothing policy changes, they should simply… murder their boss?

There is no point, we don’t exist for a reason, we’re just a thing that happened in the universe by random chance.

That’s not an inherently bad thing though, heck, the concept of “bad” isn’t even “real”, it’s just an invention we came up with.

But I digress. We must find out own purpose and meaning in life, it won’t be handed to us. Think of the journey as a fun ride with no rules, there are no gods, the universe doesn’t judge you, you are unique and weird and amazing and can interact with the universe in ways no gigantic star or powerful black hole ever could.

Boost, it was the perfect Reddit client for me and now it’s the perfect Lemmy client, I didn’t have to sacrifice any aspect of the experience.

I use the Boost app for Lemmy so it basically feels exactly like the ideal Reddit experience felt back then, which is fantastic.

As for being put off, the only thing that really bothers me is the extreme hatred for Windows and the deepthroating of Linux. It’s creepy.

Like, I love Linux and use it for many things alongside Windows, but I don’t get obsessively weird about it to the point of creating memes or going out of my way to tell people why they’re wrong for using one over the other, you know?

If that were toned down I’d certainly feel a little more relaxed, but on the whole the Lemmy experience has been lovely <3

How about they just don’t have bad security and people don’t risk having their private data stolen?
